Cores rebuilt to factory clearances

Houston remanufacturing for reciprocating and rotary-screw compressors - OEM tolerances, parts, and field support for HVAC and refrigeration contractors.

Shop lanes

Four lanes for contractor change-outs

Compressors built to order, plus the consumables and technical answers that keep a change-out moving.

Reciprocating compressors

Carrier, Copeland, Trane, and York recip cores torn down to bare castings, machined back to factory dimensions, and rebuilt to run like new.

Rotary screw compressors

Carrier, Trane, and York rotary screw units built for larger-tonnage systems where a clean remanufactured core matters.

Parts and supplies

Oil (1 and 5 gal), acid reducer, spring mount kits, service valves, crankcase heaters, and unloaders shipped alongside your unit.

Technical support

Model ID, application help, and field questions - so your techs can finish the install without guessing.

Shop ledger

Houston shop floor since 2004

Family-owned in Houston and focused on three things: building solid compressors, answering contractors clearly, and giving the technical support it takes to get the job done.

We rebuild every compressor to last and to make install and maintenance easier in the field. Owner David Brown works from 7205 Belgold St.

Rebuild sequence

From bare casting to tagged unit

Every compressor follows the same measured path - from the first core we built to the one leaving today.

1

Teardown

Pistons, rods, valve plates, bearing heads, and sleeves come off down to bare castings for inspection.

2

Inspect and measure

Bores, crank journals, and mains are measured to the thousandth; the model is verified against the unit.

3

Machine and recondition

Surfaces return to tolerance and gasket faces are trued. Anything outside spec is machined or replaced.

4

Reassemble to spec

New gaskets, bearings, and wear parts go in as the compressor is rebuilt to factory clearances.

5

Run-test

Amperage on each leg and oil pressure are checked so the unit proves itself before it leaves.

6

Finish and ship

Painted, tagged, and packed so a heavy compressor arrives clean and ready to set.

Exploded view

Marks we leave on every rebuild

Small shop details that show up on pump-downs, oil changes, and the next service call.

Measured components before reassembly
OEM tolerances

Built to exacting factory clearances for longer compressor life.

Hand-set valves

Every valve plate valve is set by hand for stronger pump-downs.

Easier oil changes

On Carrier 06D and Copeland, the side drain plug is drilled and tapped.

Gaskets included

Connection gaskets ship with the compressor so the install is not shorted.

Ledger notes

Ledger notes contractors keep

Practical shop habits that keep electrical boxes clean and unloaders oriented for the job.

Clean threads

Electrical box mounting threads are chased and fitted with new screws.

Plug-and-play setup

Unloaders, correct oil, and end-bell orientation set the way the install needs.

Run-tested cores

Finished compressors are run and checked before they leave the building.
